A native of Corpus Christi, TX, Katelin has called the Brazos Valley home since 2008 after graduating high school.

After being deeply influenced by a Young Life leader in high school who took the time to teach her how God uses others to share His love, Katelin soon discovered a passion for children. She began volunteering in the children’s area at Brazos Fellowship, taking the opportunity to share God’s love with the children in our ministry and relishing the privilege of bearing witness to the beginning of their faith journey.

While she recognizes that her truest joy can only be found in God, spending a day off watching a movie marathon with her husband Benjamin would easily be a close second.

And recently, a friend gave Katelin the best spiritual advice which she now uses as a daily reminder:

“Don’t love anything God gives you more than God Himself.”
